Silence of the Worlds 17Darkness had enveloped the mansion and the grounds it stood on. With an eerie feeling in the pits of their stomachs, Kira and Hiro advanced into the creepy mansion. The large wooden front doors were not locked and seemed to gladly swing open to give access to them, shutting violently after them. "I guess we're expected" Kira whispered under her breath, as if not to wake a sleeping evil. "I only expected you to invite me" came a voice behind them. Swiveling on their heels, they saw Teggan standing there, holding a book and yawning. "You shouldn't sneak up on us in these situations Teggan" Hiro whispered "And at whSilence of the Worlds 17
silence of the worlds 16Hiro stared contently at the meal laid before him, yet at the same time distracted. He couldn't get his mind off of her and what they did in times past. He ate and asked Kira "So, what's your thoughts on the current situation?" Kira looked at him, wondering what exactly possesed him to ask that question. She answered " I think that this is something bigger then we had first thought." Hiro glanced over his shoulder to the boy, "I think your right, because this seal was originallly created to conquer kingdoms and men, not pitiful town colosieums and small children. We have to stop her soon, if not immediatly." Hiro rose from the table, and walksilence of the worlds 16
Silence of the Worlds 15The four of them reached Morris’s place and got inside in little time. The crowds gad not yet dispersed from the tournament. Hiro lay the boy on the couch and looked at him. “Kira, can you get some water, he’s got to be thirsty,” Hiro asked. Kira went to get it. After the boy drank the water, he fell asleep. The three travellers looked at each other. “What do we do with him?” asked Teggan. “He’s dangerous.”Silence of the Worlds 15
